Since 2005 RE/MAX Italia gives its support to the nonprofit organization Telefono Azzurro Onlus (www.azzurro.it).
RE/MAX Cares at all levels of the RE/MAX network - from individual agents to RE/MAX offices, regions and RE/MAX World Headquarters - doing good means good business.
Since 1987, SOS Telefono Azzurro Onlus has been committed to enforcing the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (1989) and in creating a society where children and adolescents are truly respected during all the stages of development.
Telefono Azzurro was the first association in Italy committed to the prevention of child abuse and neglect. For the past 24 years, Telefono Azzurro has been a reference point for young children and adolescents in difficulty and at risk.
Listening to children and adolescents is the main activity at Telefono Azzurro. It has developed a response model consisting of actions to protect minors, even in emergency situations, alongside a ceaseless activity based on prevention, creating awareness and providing information countrywide for more than twenty years.
Furthermore, Telefono Azzurro represents a permanent and privileged watch group focused on the conditions of infancy and adolescence in Italy. Telefono Azzurro is also heavily involved in advocating children’s rights and promoting a children’s culture within society, by collaborating closely with local, national and international institutions.
There is an ever-growing need to address infancy problems with consciousness and more suitable tools. This is the challenge we believe in; which can only be overcome with everyone’s help.
